Fall-Filled Cookies
Makes approx. 18-20 cookies
Cook Time: 10 – 15 minutes
Cook Temp: 350℉
A delicious fall cookie treat with gooey chocolate. They have a lovely cinnamon taste to them and are good for any fall holiday!
Ingredients:
- ½ cup butter, softened
- ½ cup white granulated sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- ½ cup of chocolate chips
- ½ cup nuts (pecans or walnuts) *optional
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions:
- Get out baking sheets and spray with non-stick spray or line with parchment paper. Then preheat the oven to 350℉.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine together butter and sugars until creamy. Then add in the egg and vanilla extract mix until well combined.
- In another bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and a pinch of salt until well combined.
- Slowly add the flour mixture into the butter mixture by adding in half of the flour, stirring, and then the next half of the flour and stirring.
- Now that the dough is formed, fold in the chocolate chips and the nuts.
- Shape the dough into round balls about a tablespoon big and put on the baking sheet.
- Cook for 10-15 minutes until the edges are golden brown and they are cooked all the way through
- Take the cookies out of the oven and cool, or eat them straight from the oven! Enjoy!
