Boys Tennis Season Recap

COVID-19 has brought many hardships this year, and school sports are no exception. While many sport seasons were postponed, the boys tennis season went ahead as scheduled, albeit with a shortened season. Masks were required for double matches (a type of game where there are two players on each side of the court), and were advised, but not required, for single matches. Temperature checks were required upon entrance to practice, each player received three tennis balls to prevent cross contamination, and players were cut in order to keep participation numbers low. Despite all of this, the boys tennis team managed to win the state championships. Every member of the team overcame the difficulties of the season, but it paid off when they  pulled off a state title by two points.
